Nagrota Gujroo: Hari Prabhu Sanstha organised a comprehensive Mega Medical Camp at Hari Prabhu Ashray, Nagrota Gujroo, Tehsil Ramkote, with the objective of providing accessible and quality healthcare services to the rural and local community.
Eye Care & Cataract Surgeries:
The specialized Eye Camp was conducted by Dr. Ashok Sharma, HOD, Ophthalmology, GMC Jammu, along with his expert medical team:
- Around 100 patients attended the eye OPD examination.
- 45 patients were prescribed free spectacles.
- Nearly 30 patients were diagnosed and advised cataract surgeries.
- Surgeries are scheduled to be performed at GMC Jammu on 13 November 2026.
- Free To-and-Fro Transportation: To ensure that patients face no logistical difficulties, Hari Prabhu Sanstha will facilitate their admission at GMC Jammu and provide free to-and-fro transportation from Nagrota Gujroo for the scheduled surgeries.
Paediatric Care OPD:
The paediatric OPD was attended by Dr. Vikas Mahajan (renowned Child Specialist and Neonatologist) and Dr. Sanchit Sharma. Approximately 20 child patients were examined, and parents expressed immense satisfaction with the detailed consultations and medical guidance provided.
Free Medicines & Social Welfare:
- Free Medicines: Both medical teams provided free essential medicines to all patients, ensuring comprehensive care beyond examination and consultation.
- Widow Pension Assistance: During the camp, an application seeking widow pension assistance was also received and taken up for consideration, reaffirming the Sanstha’s holistic commitment to the welfare of vulnerable sections of society.
