22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at IIPA Hall, Behind University of Jammu

Jammu, August 23, 2026: Hari Prabhu Sanstha successfully conducted its 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at IIPA Hall, Jammu, with Sh. Arvind Gupta, Hon’ble MLA, Jammu West, as the Chief Guest. The meeting was presided over by Sh. Harinder Gupta, Chairman, Hari Prabhu Sanstha.Dr.Dinesh Gupta, Secretary old aged home and Sh.Vinod Soni ( CEO RTD.) were guest of Honour. The AGM brought together members, distinguished guests and well-wishers of the Sanstha to review its activities and achievements during the year and to reaffirm its commitment towards serving humanity and spreading happiness. During the programme, the Sanstha highlighted its various initiatives in the fields of healthcare, education, social welfare and community service, including medical camps, assistance to needy families, widow pension, scholarships, marriage assistance and other welfare measures. The Chief Guest, Sh. Arvind Gupta, Hon’ble MLA, Jammu West, appreciated the humanitarian work being carried out by Hari Prabhu Sanstha and lauded its efforts towards supporting the underprivileged and serving society. A special patriotic presentation was made during the programme by Sh. Kishori Lal Gupta ji, children from Jigar Institute of Education & Learning Gangyal, and Dogri Sanstha, Jammu which was warmly appreciated by the audience. Dogri Khanna was also served to the attendees, adding a local cultural flavour to the occasion. A number of distinguished personalities were honoured by the Chief Guest with momentos in recognition of their achievements and contribution to society. Those honoured included: - Ms. Anekha Devi, member of the Indian Women’s Blind T20 winning team; - Ms. Rinki Singh, who represented India at the United Nations; - Mr. Anil Gupta, Director, Agriculture; - Mr. Rajesh Gupta, Deputy Director, Skill Development; - Mr. Arun Gupta, Superintending Engineer (Retd.); - Dr. Vanshika Mahajan, women topper in MBBS, Jammu and - Dr. Ankush Sharma, MBBS, MD, DM (Gastroenterologist). The occasion also witnessed the release of News Reporter, two books compiled by Sh.Kishori Lal Gupta , book on life of Lt. Sh.I.D.SONI and inauguration of the official website of Hari Prabhu Sanstha by the Chief Guest, marking an important step towards greater public outreach and transparency. The annual income and expenditure statement of the Sanstha was presented before the members, outlining the financial activities and welfare initiatives undertaken during the year. Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Harinder Gupta, Chairman, reiterated the Sanstha’s resolve to continue its welfare activities with greater commitment and to extend support to more needy and deserving people. The programme concluded with a presentation on the life and contribution of Late Sh. I. D. Soni, Chief Patron of the Sanstha, followed by a vote of thanks by Sh. Anil Sharma. The office bearers and members of Hari Prabhu Sanstha expressed their gratitude to the Chief Guest, distinguished guests, participants, donors, well-wishers and members of the media for their continued support and encouragement.
